Cai Creek is scheduled to be sold for logging in October to December 2024.
- Cutblock Area: The cutblock will have a footprint of 42 hectares with 6 hectares reserved. That’s about 10-15% of the Cai Creek watershed.
- Cutblock Length: The entire Cai Creek watershed – about 1.8 km from north to south.
- For comparison BC Timber Sales’ cutblock will be about the size of Castlegar Airport
